We are citizens of the Greater Asheville Area

Hundreds of area residents have joined forces to form Citizens for Responsible Land Use (CRLU), an organization focused on promoting conservation-oriented land-use policies in steep- slope areas of North Asheville and Woodfin. While the overall purpose of the organization is ensuring the adoption of responsible land-use policies across these communities, the initial vital issue driving our formation is the proposed Cornerstone development on steep slope areas of the portions of Killian and Reynolds Mountains that adjoin the ridge line of Elk Mountain.
